Facades on the Maersk Tower, University of Copenhagen

Facts
Address: Blegdamsvej 3B, 2200 København N
Materials: TECU® Classic Bond + TECU® Copper Mesh
Architect: C. F. Møller A/S
Dimension: Ca. 20.000 m2

The Maersk Tower is an addition of Panum, which is part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences of the University of Copenhagen.

KME and Metalcenter Group has handled the initial work with C. F. Møller. The Maersk Tower is clad in TECU® Classic Bond and TECU® Copper Mesh on the facades.

When mounted the materials are golden, but it will get a deeper, darker color when it patinates – this will underline the shape of the material. The architectural shape of the building is supported elegantly by the metal, which ensures that also in the future Panum will appear as an aesthetic pearl.
